Not so special anymore http://betthefarmny.com/news/2012/04/28/not-so-special-anymore/ http://betthefarmny.com/news/2012/04/28/not-so-special-anymore/#comments Sat, 28 Apr 2012 12:30:39 +0000 Administrator http://betthefarmny.com/news/?p=139 For the first six years of our operation, we have made at our wines at Damiani Wine Cellars under a Special Farm Winery license from New York State. We recently licensed as a Farm Winery at Sunrise Hill Vineyard just north of Interlaken. The building we are leasing was built as a winery but has remained dormant since 2003. With this move, we expect to continue to increase our annual production. We hope you continue to support us and watch us grow. Many thanks to Lou Damiani, Phil Davis, and Glenn Allen for their years of support.

Judgement at Bet the Farm http://betthefarmny.com/news/2012/04/02/judgement-at-bet-the-farm/ http://betthefarmny.com/news/2012/04/02/judgement-at-bet-the-farm/#comments Tue, 03 Apr 2012 02:44:12 +0000 Administrator http://betthefarmny.com/news/?p=137 Our wine class continues on Friday, April 13th beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The occasion is momentous – Finger Lakes vs. warm climate wines of the same varietal. So here’s the dogma: wines that are higher in acid pair better with foods. Being the empiricists that we are – we’re going to test it. One dish, two wines in brown bags. You get the idea. If you would like to join us – cost is $20 per person and you must preregister by Tuesday April 10th. Call 315-294-5643 to reserve your seat.
